The Art of Sports Recovery For the Mahd Sports Academy, our studio developed a comprehensive conceptual proposal for a dedicated hotel and sports residence, designed exclusively to house athletic camps, rising talents, and official visiting delegates. The core architectural and interior vision was driven by a dual mandate: to actively empower athletic capabilities while providing the absolute utmost in tailored, restorative comfort. The interior narrative seamlessly translates the Academy’s dynamic identity into a refined hospitality experience. By carefully integrating the institution's signature brand colors—utilizing a sophisticated base of sleek greys punctuated by energizing bursts of orange, purple and teal—we crafted spaces that balance motivation with tranquility. From the modern, collaborative lounge areas featuring inspiring environmental graphics to the meticulously appointed, restful bedrooms, every spatial decision was engineered to support the rigorous lifestyle and recovery needs of elite athletes. The design also thoughtfully incorporates outdoor courtyards, complete with water features, creating essential transitional spaces for mental relaxation between training sessions. To ensure this conceptual vision met the highest international standards, our design process was rooted in intensive research. We began with a rigorous study of the unique operational requirements of sports camps, directly benchmarking our approach against a global comparison of best practices in high-performance hospitality.
